A short presentation about a project CaBilAvi, provided by Mr. Dobeš, during the fair Aero Friedrichshafen 2017 which took place at the beginning of April, was included in a video spot by airZone TV (currently the largest and the first aviation related television in the Czech Republic). Mr. Dobeš, a director of GNSS Centre of Excellence, has shortly presented the CaBilAvi project with the main objective to present to open public the information about benefits of EGNOS systems in aviation and expected outcomes of its implementation. As Mr. Dobeš has said, “Project CaBilAvi deals with a topic, which enables the use of satellite navigations in aviation, this means, that it allows pilots, ATO’s and airport operators to use satellite technologies in their countries to have cheaper and safer airspace.”. Another task implemented within the project, and introduces by Mr. Dobeš, is gathering of information, especially for countries of central and eastern Europe, so that the EGNOS technologies can simply and effectively be implemented within interested countries.
